Nano-ceramic coating is a liquid glass layer that bonds to your paint and hardens into a shield — up to 10H, the top of the hardness scale. Once it's on, dirt and water can't grip the surface, so they bead up and roll off instead of baking on. That means far fewer washes, far less risk of etched-in bird droppings or water spots, and a mirror-deep gloss that actually lasts. It also blocks the UV and heat that fade your paint, and shrugs off the chemicals in bird mess and acid rain — all while staying completely invisible. The Mud Test — Coated vs. Uncoated
In this clip only half the panel is coated with our nano-ceramic. We throw the same mud at both sides — and the coated half just won't hold it. The dirt beads up and slides off, while the bare side stays caked.
That's the hydrophobic layer doing its job: water and grime can't grip the surface, so a quick rinse is all it takes. This is what “wash less” actually looks like on your own car.

Our Ceramic Coating Process
Usually 1–3 days, depending on your car's size and condition and the number of layers. Most of the work is in the prep — that's what makes a coating last.
1. Deep Wash & Prep
The car is washed and deep-cleaned so no dirt or grime is left on the surface — because anything left behind would get sealed under the coating.
2. Paint Correction (Polish)
We polish out the existing swirls and light scratches first — the coating locks in whatever's underneath, so it has to be flawless.
3. Surface Prep
Every panel is wiped down so nothing comes between your paint and the coating for a perfect bond.
4. Coating Application
The nano-ceramic is applied by hand, layer by layer — up to 12 layers for HD 10H — for even, complete coverage.
5. Curing
The coating is left to cure and bond fully to the surface before the car goes back out.
6. Inspection & Handover
We check every panel under proper light, then walk you through how to keep it at its best.
Frequently Asked Questions
Do I need to polish the car before coating?
Yes — and it's included. Polishing removes swirls and scratches first, because the coating seals in whatever's underneath. At Armor, paint correction is part of every ceramic service.
What's the difference between 10H and 9H?
Both protect and add gloss — the difference is longevity and depth. HD 10H is 12 layers with a 5-year warranty; 9H is 6 layers with a 3-year warranty. 10H is the flagship; 9H is the value option.
How long does it take?
Usually 1 to 3 days, depending on the number of layers, your car's size, and how much prep and polishing it needs.
Ceramic coating or PPF — which should I get?
They solve different problems. Ceramic gives you the easy-clean, water-beading, glossy, UV and chemical protection. PPF is a thicker physical film that also takes scratches and impacts. A lot of owners get both — PPF on the front where the impacts land, and ceramic on the rest of the car.
Is there any maintenance afterward?
A light refresh keeps it performing at its best. With Armor you get two free maintenance sessions in your first year — one every 6 months — whether you choose the 10H or the 9H coating.
Does nano-ceramic coating stop scratches?
Nano-ceramic coating resists minor scratches and swirl marks — the kind you get from washing and daily driving. It won't stop deep scratches from sharp objects or hard impacts; for that, PPF is the answer.
Will it void my car's warranty?
No. Ceramic coating is purely a protective layer on the exterior paint — it doesn't touch any mechanical or electrical part, so it doesn't affect your manufacturer warranty.
Do you coat motorcycles too?
Yes — bikes are welcome. A motorcycle's tank and bodywork show every mark, and a ceramic coating gives them the same easy-clean gloss and protection we put on cars. Tell us your bike and we'll recommend the right option.
